BAAG members are designated as fellows. There are 42 Fellows now. Every year new Fellows are inducted through the vote by the members. One member has to nominate the candidate and another member has to second the nomination. If there are more than two nominations, the Fellows vote for the candidate in Annual General Meeting to select two members. The members are inducted from all sub-sectors of agriculture.

Only the selected members have the right to be Fellow. The fees for membership (one-time) is Tk 5000 for Bangladeshi local and USD 100 for foreigners.
